Personal Interests

Mrs. Durham resides in Danville, VA with her husband, their three-year-old daughter, and two teenage step-daughters. She spends the majority of her free time with her family and trying to keep up with her toddler. Mrs. Durham is an active advocate for Veteran’s healthcare reform, a member of the American Cancer Society, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Mrs. Durham tutors and mentors nursing students and new graduate nurses from the Danville, Martinsville, and South Boston areas and has been doing so since before she graduated nursing school. Mrs. Durham is always looking for new ways to give back to her community.


Mrs. Durham is passionate about Family Medicine and working with patients from across the Lynchburg-area to achieve their optimal health. Mrs. Durham received her ADN from Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, VA and her BSN and MSN/FNP from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downer’s Grove, Il. Mrs. Durham is an ANCC board certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse where she spent the majority of her nursing career. Mrs. Durham has also worked in a long-term care and rehabilitation center.
